Application Submission Instructions

To ensure a fair and consistent review process, applicants must submit all required materials as one (1) combined PDF document.

Your PDF must include the following in this order:

  1. Completed Applicant Information

  2. Academic Information

  3. Financial Need Statement

  4. Animal Experience Statement

  5. Required Essay (maximum 1,000 words)

  6. Unofficial Transcript

  7. Optional Resume (if applicable)

PDF Requirements

  • Submit one PDF file only

  • All pages must be combined into a single document

  • File size should not exceed 10 MB

  • Accepted file format: PDF only

  • Applications submitted in multiple files may not be considered

File Naming Format

Please save your file using the following format:

LastName_FirstName_BarbaraRuaneScholarship.pdf

Example:
Smith_Jane_BarbaraRuaneScholarship.pdf

Before You Submit

Please verify that:

  • All application questions have been answered

  • Your essay does not exceed 1,000 words

  • Your unofficial transcript is included

  • All documents have been combined into one PDF file

  • Your PDF opens correctly and is readable

Incomplete applications or applications submitted after July 1 will not be considered.
