For a $30 donation, we'll place 50 American flags in your yard before July 4th and remove them after the holiday. This patriotic fundraiser helps raise money for underprivileged animals in the Shreveport-Bossier community.

Join the Krewe of Barkus and Meoux for an unforgettable evening as we celebrate Coronation XXVII and officially present the 2026–2027 Pet Royalty Court.
This signature event brings together animal lovers, community supporters, and local leaders for a night of celebration, fellowship, and philanthropy. Guests will enjoy the royal presentations, dinner, music and dancing with our DJ, and the opportunity to support our mission of promoting animal welfare and community engagement throughout Northwest Louisiana.
Guests are encouraged to attend in their Sunday Best attire as we gather for this elegant evening honoring our Pet Royalty and the continued success of the Krewe's programs.
Proceeds from Coronation XXVII help support the Krewe of Barkus and Meoux's charitable initiatives, including pet-focused community programs, educational outreach, and the Barbara Ann Ruane Memorial Scholarship, which assists students pursuing careers in animal welfare and veterinary-related fields.
Whether you are attending to cheer on our newly crowned royalty, support a worthy cause, or simply enjoy a memorable evening with fellow animal lovers, Coronation XXVII promises to be a truly royal affair.
Silent Auction Experiences
The evening will also feature a Silent Auction showcasing a variety of unique experiences, local attractions, dining opportunities, travel packages, pet-themed items, and specialty gifts generously donated by businesses and supporters throughout the community.

Reserve your seat today and join us for an evening of celebration, community, and giving back. Tickets are limited, and advance purchase is encouraged. Deadline to purchase tickets is July 19th.
